I promised me and the clannies – no personal calsi bloggie until their antics are up-to-date. But, alas, resist this we can’t!Anyone who’s rocol and reads newspapers will know about the saga of the GEP programme ger with the “uncaring elitist face”, who also happens to have a PAP MP for a parental unit.
Typically, I got a whiff of this particular bloc of cheese only when an interview with du parental unit surfaced. Even without foreknowledge of his precious elitist-faced teenage daughter’s rant, I could pick out various points, which we shall refer to as salient, that are argumentable (for want of a better word).
Imagine my surprise, and maybe a secretly delightful resonance, that singapolians online share some of my thoughts. Rather than rehash, here’s a chronology, with my annotations.
- Future of Singapore. Posted by solitarejoker. The place to read about
- the originating online entry by one Mr Derek Wee
- the blog entry that started it all, the response of du uncaring-elitist-face (which is no longer online in it’s pristine condition as du uncaring-elitist-face has shut down her blog)
- preface of these two precious articles – solitairejoker’s thoughts
- ‘Elitist’ Blogger counselled. Posted by solitarejoker. The PAP MP parental unit’s response.
- Empathy. Posted by solitarejoker. A letter about du PAP MP parental unit’s response.
- Wee Siew Kim’s defence of his daughter. Posted by isaiahlim. Thoughts about u PAP MP parental unit’s response.
- Afterthoughts. The last words are an absolute SCREAM
- Wee Shu Min, Globalisation, Singapore and America. Posted by Mr Wang. Mr Wang hit the nail absolutely straight up, or down as your orientation may be.
I can’t help but wonder, how many scions of authority aka cohorts of du uncaring-elitist-face maintain blogs, and whether these are being ordered to pack up and shut down now. That’ll be a very interesting statistic to know. Is it just me or is the sound of backpeddling starting to echo in here?
And it’s a really magical feeling, to see your thoughts online, without you having to do the menial task yourself. How we adore copy and paste!
